ok... i found this and im just wondering is it worth it or not??? http://cgi.ebay.com/FIBERGLASS-LAMI...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item45ef85455d
I would say so, considering I had my car custom painted about 8-10 years ago and got a brand new roof panel when i had it done. It was completely prepped and painted outside of the car. It started rusting and bubbling about 4-5 years later, and my car is garaged, and doesn't see rain or snow!! If it is fiberglass, it can't rust out!! Where was it when i needed it!
I'm wondering if this is our friend who was going to make fiberglass bonnets, fenders & doors. He was from Poland?
hmmm..... i wonder what the quality is like... i know i fixed one and it came out perfect... but i was seriously considering doing this with my own... it would be that little lighter also??? anybody have a fiberglass sunroof?? the only thing id be worried about is the shape of it and would it let in water?? crazy
Not sure what to think about this company - we've seen low rez photos of hoods & etc and the items look good, but no actual photos of products installed. As potential customers of whom he's solicited, we have no idea of correct OEM fitment or anything. I also see st162 and st165 fenders listed on their ebay store which are the same in their photos (but in reality) the OEM items are different :? What, so an st165 guy has to redrill all the body kit mount holes and the fenders won't line up correctly? I know we're not talking fenders here, but this lack of detail like this make me loose confidence with the seller
i just dont know wether or not its a good buy??it defo would be lighter but would it be the right shape?? or is it a cheapo make that just doesnt live up to the original standards??
hmmmm.... i might go for it!!! will be handy to have one less part to worry about rusting!!!
The pics on the old site were excellent, he had a stock bonnet and a 205 modded bonnet as well I tried to contact him thru his site without any luck, If anyone does contact him try to steer him back this way
Sorry, I was unaware that the company was vouched for while I was playing devils advocate  If Mafix says go for it, go for it fingersx
Sorry, can't find any of the pics & links I thought I saved. His 205 bonnet looked just like Rev_hed's but in fiberglass. I'd like the stock fiberglass hood as that's a huge weight saving, the fenders won't save any, but if they were flared..... The fiberglass doors didn't go down well, but I don't think they were intended for street use anyway
