    GAHHHHHH Gorgeous.. would kill to have one of these. almost looks like a mustang

    ... so ugly. wouldnt drive if i got it for free. LOL

    i feel like they tried too hard and messed up.. everyone i know believes this is the "female" car. bitch ass car.. lol

    i like all the early ones, not such a big fan of the later few, they became more of a "female" car (so they are fine as long as a guy isnt driving one). aka i pretty much like gens 1-4, 5 is so so but i like the all trac version, but i could do without 6 and 7.

    4th, but I'd settle fot a 5th as long as it was a 'trac or a 3rd that's a gt-s/spd/'vert

    Sorry...the TC will NEVER be a Celica. IMHO it doesn't deserve the name. I've driven both an auto and 5 spd. Beat one in a straight line in my 86 GT-S with 190,000 miles on it with a bad tranny. And YES they other guy was really trying...lol with his Girlfriend in the car too. hehe. :eek:

    Anywho...my favorite gen has to be the 4th...lol this IS a 4th gen forum for gods sake...lol If I had a second choice I'd say the 6th gen liftback. :D The picture you have up there isnt a good one of the 6th gen. You need one of the 6th gen GT with the psudo stock body kit on it or maybe the 6th gen AllTrac. :wink:

    I realize that these are just the wikipedia pictures, but you can't post trac pics for 4 and 5, then leave out 6.

    And the pic for the 2nd gen is of the 78-79, not nearly as nice as the 80-81. And its a liftback, which where ugly in those years. The coupe is much nicer.

    I have my preferences, sure, but I'll take any that aren't 7th gen.

    What a surprise - most of us prefer 4th gen...:)

    I tend to develop a liking for anything that I've sunk so much time and money into. I like the 1st gen, too - it just looks like it needs a V-8 (guess it's the similarity to some US muscle cars). The 6th gen turbo lines are cool, but by that time the Celica is starting to lose its uniqueness and is headed towards that generic styling as car manufacturers zeroed in on the most aero-dynamic design. It'd be great to see something truly unique out there again, but we all know that's not going to happen except for what we do after-market. I just don't think there are many radically different design choices left w/ all the computer modeling that happens before a prototype even gets dreamed up. Sigh....

    Toyota - please prove me wrong!

    I like 1st and 4th gens the most what a suprise, but apart from the 7th gen, the rest are cool too, in a retro way.

    I really do not get the 7th gens at all, the rear looks like its from a different car, no motorsport pretensions at all, and way to many with silly OTT body kits.

    If I can have a race againist any other Celica It would be a 7th gen so I can totally destroy it.
