How practical would it be to swap a 4A-GZE into a 4g? I'm thinking since it would be boosted but lighter than the 3S-GTE, plus use the GZE transmission and do the linkage trick instead of having to try and get an FE tranny...what do you guys think? Or am I totally crazy here?

2nd gen 3sgte would still be better imo

yeah I figured the wiring would suck...and looking at importers websites they're about the same as a 2nd gen Celica GTE...I just have no use for a 4WD tranny...

yeah but the 2nd gen 3sgte is more advanced (apparently) than the newest celica engine's.....

  7. Buy a 94+ Mr2 engine and tranny or rear clip. LSD + MAP>MAF and you only need minor mods to the tranny to use it. ( Linkage moved and one of the axles is goofy)

    Just my .02

My friend had a 93 with the mr2 swap that was a beast. tranny held up to 380whp and being driven hard for many many miles before selling it.
