As you all undoubtable seen my wiring diagram for my system you noticed that it HAd a Sony Amplifier. Well I finally upgraded to an appropriate size amlpifier that can do any and everything I need it to.

It had Hi and low inputs for i can amplify the interior speakers so the entire car sounds more modern. Tuning the entire system will take days. But Here is my New amd and my recoloring process.

Sony Comp Class 2 ch Amp with variable tuning and Front / Rear / High Low ouputs. Great for tuning everything from the DVD/MP3/Ipod/ to CDRs everything.

But if you havent noticed it the wrong color. My accents are blue but i love Sony Xplod for my full amplified sounds. Concieirto sounds.

First i flipped it over and removed the 7 screws

Removed the 4 screws holding the accent peices on.

Look at the guts. Oh so small. I thought at this point to lay plexiglass over it and add LEDs but geez i got alof of LEDs so far. I think that would been overkill. SO i removed the screws that hold the cuircut board in place. There are 10 screws 3 on 3 sides and 1 in the middle of the borad for vibration control. Becareful that white gue glue substance is still wet and this amps manufactured date was months ago. Weird

With the bare naked aluminum shell off i decided to scuff and smooth the suface breifly to removed inconsistencies in the surface material. And sto scuff the plastic trim peices so paint adhesion would suceed.

Then i decided to tape off where i didnt want paint it was hard to get inside all those grooves. But a super sharp exacto knife and a steady hand can make short work of cutting the tape.

Then comes the paint. Metal Blue FLake metallic. SHould match the anodized metals accent I have under the hood.

Sunlight changes the color so dramatically it isnt that blue.
More like this. After the tape is removed carefully and after a curing time of 30 minutes but before 1 hour. After and hour it would be so hard to get it off without ruining the cutting edge.

Now i reinstalled everything. And Added this.. By gosh more F***** LEDS
Yeah I told you i had a pod and door handles strips left.

    Here is the Thumper
    Rockford Fosgate 750watt 12 Deep cone Woofer w/ 2 way attachment.[IMG]

Now all mounted up with No spare extra wire to eliminated interference and distortion.

not bad at all good paint job on the housing but may
wanna find a better mounting solution for the amp as
mounting it on the box can cause problems and litteraly
shake it apart ( mine si mounted to the side of the trunk)
all in all quite nice though
