I'm pretty sure I saw inexpensive chrome pipes in all different sizes, bends at autozone. They were for exhaust, but I don't think it matters. They had plastic acordion duct pipe in different colors and etc for intake applications too. I didn't see any bypass valves, you'd have to order that from somewhere if want that as well. AEM has a decent write-up on their website in regards to full CAI's and short ram set-ups.

For the one I just rigged up, carefully removed the stock box and duct, and added the $12 adapter and $25 filter. Had to drill custom holes on the adapter, but that was no biggie even for me LOL!

My adapter has a plug for that, but in my case it's not applicable.

youds, no auto or hardware stores here in the usa will sell you 3" piping. You can only get 2.5"

OK, this should get you started to formulate a plan of attack. It would be helpful if we had more exact info about your car, year, engine etc then others could give you better answers.

If you can't get anything in town where ever that is, you'll have to go online. The 1" or whatever grommets you can get in any store. You could find a kit online, but you're going to pay 2x's as much as just buying the parts and fabbing it yourself. Most likely, even if you find a kit, you will have to mod it to fit your engine bay.

Here's one place that has just about everything you need. If you have a MAF, you need the 2 1/2" adapter, 3">2 1/2" coupler, and then the cone filter (in addition to the straight tube of course).

I would assume you might need a couple for this to?

    Inexpensive Filter:

Silicone Tubing (Vac tubing) for PCV?

Don't know if this is right stuff? Someone else might be able to help.

    Heat shield:

(Suggested if you don't make a box or shield yourself)

This place is over priced, google the part#'s, maybe you'll find a less expensive place.

Sometimes peoples time and expertise cannot be adequately compensated. Sounds like you are already on the right track so producing your own....
