Like the ones Youds, Rye and underscore have here. http://www.st162.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=507

    Australia got these

Now I realise that the buttons for the vent controls are actual electronic buttons rather than the level cable setup of the Aussie one. This would be easiest fixed with motors that change the setting on the vent control boxes.

Im thinking that the fans are electrically controlled so thats just a wiring issue anyway,a nd the temp setting I cant tell. Is it cable or electric? Again A stepper motor on the heater tap would fix this?

No electronics expert, but I would like to see how hard this would be, is much more upmarket.

IM hoping That St165 has some good shots of the bits on the boxes under the dash, maybe somebody has pics of the rear of the climate control unit?

    Cheers for any help guys

it would be nice but the electric heater control the one cable that goes into the engine bay seizes up and the motor frys. i had to unhook everything and pull a lever under the dash for my heat to work and it just broke the other day

I'm not 100% it would even work with your car...

I know 87 heater controls won't work with my 88 car....so I don't know if that would work or not for you...although it would look a lot better...

    Update?
    I'm having similar issues

What you want to do is a wiring nightmare, you'll have to change the airboxes and create your own wiring or adapt a scrap harness

IMO the easiest would be to pull everything from a scrap car and go from there, many of the control units/servos are faulty and you can't test them in the yards for instance

ps. your link doesn't work so I don't know which one you are referring to
