How long have you had your Celica ?

    How long have members owned their Celicas ? I am on my second Celica ST162, and coming up to 19 years ownership. Still loving it........ALWAYS :cool

    8 great months. if you count how long i've been around my celi but not owning it, more than half of my life (10 years).

    Really feel for ya Rick , regarding Red Lady. 10 years ownership and that happens :sad I just don't know how I'd feel if that happened to mine. :shock

    well the st(coupe) my grandma bought new in 87, i had it for about 7 months before i wrecked it. had flatliner for about 2 years now. had the gts like 5 months or so.

    Dad legally owned the car for about 22 years. (Car is still under my dad's name I think, so it's legally still my dad's)
    I've had the keys to the car for about a year.
    Everyone in the family considers it my car now though cause I'm the only one that drives it. (and holds the keys to it)

    Been owning them for 14 years now and this one for 7 or 8 years now :)

    This is celica nr 5 for me.

    I was 25 y.o in 1987, when I went to the Toyota dealership but I wasn't rich enough to buy one.
    Just got the pleasure to sit down in a brand-new celica. I remember it was blue-grey metallic.
    I was already totally contaminated by this damned 4gen celicalitus. :mrgreen

    Bought my first one in 1998, it was a white 2.0 gt liftback.
    Sold out in 2003 and wrecked by the buyer, 2 or 3 years later, after a blown engine.
    R.I.P

    Now I own my current white one since july 2007 and the red one since january 2009.

    I own mine since february 2005. My brother had two ST162s earlier, I don't remember how long.

    I have had my GT-S since like 1999, and 2 other ST's! Just down to the GT-S now!

    I have owned and driven a 4th gen since 1990, so that's 21 years. My original
    was a 87 ST. I now have the 86 GT and 88 Alltrac. A 4th gen is the car I learned
    to drive in and I have had one ever since, they are addictive.. :D

    That's brilliant Andrew :thumbsup: Once you've driven a Celica for as long as that, it is impossible to own and drive anything else with the same level of feeling :cool

    well the gts i've had since 2007 and the gt i dismantled to build this car i bought in 1998...for gas milage. i kinda screwed that all up now didn't i?
