so the hood liner on my trac is pretty much toast. Does anyone know of a good alternative for a hood mat? i was thinking dynamat but would it handle the heat coming off the turbo?
Look for a fire/heat shield one. Dynamat sells one. It's a sticky type thing (peel & stick) with an aluminum coating on it. Jegs also has one as well that's cheaper than the Dynamat one. That's a item on my list, my hoodliner is destroyed from the previous owner. I'm going to strip it out, put a reflective one in and stick a few vents in it.
