help steering noise

    hey guys got a problem there is a noise coming from the front left of the car it intermittently makes a thud (rubbery thud) when i steer left any help appreciated

    It could be your strut top rubber mounting that's going for a ride

    Jack the front up and check for play in the wheel bearings, A -arms, and steering arms/rack.
    Turn the wheel l-r and listen for noises. Drive forward and backward in circles to listen for CV noises.

    I had something like that going on, but on the opposite side. The thing would make a thud when I turn the wheel left or when I hit a bump on the right side. Turned out to be a warn inner tie rod on the steering rack. I only figured that out after replacing the strut mount, bump stop, and outer tie rod end. Just what worked for me with the same symptom. Your mileage might vary :) .

    it turns out it was my cv joints/ shaft, weird
