Hi all, ive found a 3sgte motor with a water to air intercooler, i cannot tell the year of the motor, its probably a 2nd gen, but doesnt that water/air cooler denote a gt4 3sgte? my dilema is it has not wiring harness/ecu/afm but it has the alltrac tranny and tcase. he wants 1100 for it out the door, but i dont have a wiring harness or ecu. maffix were you selling an aftermarket ecu?
If it has a water to air int. Then it is a 1st gen 3sgte a`86-89..Good luck finding a harness for that motor...Mafix has the last brand new one.
there were no rc version on the 1st gen 3sgte...only the 2nd gen 90-93 had the rc/cs/ versions. Any pics?
no, stupid me i forgot to get pics, i have the engine number but thats about it, its got a grey (timing belt cover) the turbo is a ct26.

lol, its not any of those, as the w/a is black, it is shaped similar to the 1st gen, so it probably is a first gen, in which case i dont think i want it.
it's an RC motor. black and grey WTA cooler. that should be fun finding stuff for. make 100% sure it comes with AFM and ECU before you buy it. otherwise you'll wind up making a normal 2nd gen motor with WTA.
there is no ecu/afm, so i might as well not buy it. its wierd though it looks like the 1st gen w/a cooler but it is black
