Hey guys. just got some new tires but the front two tires rub the wheel well a bit when cornering at high speeds. I'm wanting to stiffen my suspension to eliminate the rubbing but i dont want to lower the car much, or even at all. objective?: stiffer suspension with the same ride height. What do i need to do?? HELP! thanks!

    Roll the fender lips.
Did you use the stock 205/60/14 or bigger?

what do you mean by rolling the fender lips? i'd really like to just stay with suspension and not do any body work.

    I currently have 205/50/16 tires.

Sounds like your camber is off. Take it to an alignment shop and have them add some negative camber to the front.

sorry for my lack of car knowledge :) but whats the camber and how does adding negative camber help my tires not rub, more specifically, what are they doing when they add negative camber???

With 205/50/16s, I agree with CrazyAchmed, it shouldn't rub: it's more likely alignment issues or sagging suspension, like worn springs or shocks.

Heres' a quick tutorial on fender rolling:

You get one freebie, above, but as far as camber goes, don't be a lazy ass - surf the net and do some research!

alright thanks. i think i might just need new springs. if i were to go this route, i would want to keep the same ride height. what springs would you guys suggest?

OEM replacement if they are still available. Springs usually take the longest to wear out. Try replacing the shocks first. KYB makes a set of very nice replacement shocks.

Camber is how your tire sits when you are looking from the front or back of the car at the tires.

\--/ = Positve Camber usually bad
    |--| = 0 Camber usually bad aswell
/--\ = Negative Camber Usually where the car sits. This is how its supposed to be.

Have them add some more negative to your camber while you hunt for new shocks, that way you don't tear the shit out of the tire while you wait. You are going to have to get a fresh alignment after you get the shocks installed anyway.

actually you'd be surprised, as long as im not doing any high speed turns, it doesnt rub at all. but the way i drive cars, theres no such thing as medium speed turns haha :). all i need is slightly tighter suspension and it will ride great.
