Guy's first question How is our cars drive on the road is it hard or soft mine very hard on the rear tems can't be adjusted to soft mode maybe damaged. Next is my air-con don't work they say my pump is damaged so I want to have it removed and repaired but still want to drive it but my problem there is the belt will be to long is it possible to change belts for smaller one repair's going to take two week's Another one power steering very hard on stand still even if I rev it up bit when I start driving goes soft from 20km upwards maybe tems again not sure. Next problem will be the side shaft cv left side that I will have no problem repairing that
1. Mine's is relatively soft, only lowering springs used. Your rear shock absorbers may have been replaced sometime before you had it and the TEMS system has been put off? 2. Use a belt which is on a non aircon celica , I have a pump somewhere here laying around but shipping to south africa is a b*tch . 3. Mine is of course easier by driving but also easy enough when not moving. 4. no suggestions
TEMS seems to be working it does go to normal mode but not soft because when going past 100km hard comes on automatic but when I put it off the drive on car it's very uncomfortable hard feel everything on the road bunching around belt ok will look for one steering did not help me yet also shit to move around hard feels like no power steering at all any way thanks for advice and maybe if this guy can't repair the pump we just need to find out how much will it cost will keep you in mind
1) TEMS only allows about 10seconds to change setting from turning on. You can't change it on the fly but have to switch off 1st. 2) Get a belt from a Camry, non- aircon or go to the shop with yours and find a shorter one 3) P/S pump is dying, I have same problem - look on Camry FE for spare 4) CV - look at Camry for spares I suggest you lift the rear speaker covers and front shock covers, check the wires are connected to the shocks
Kev yes today my drive was more comfy I switched ignition first then switched tems off then ignition off again and on,TEMS I left off it was a better drive Camry is the pump I will look for on then thanks for the advice will keep you guy's posted on this
