GTE Swap

    I am Buying SpeedDemons gte from his altrac. What all do i need to make my gts a halftrac.
    Gte motor
    st165 wire harness
    5sfe tranny
    What else do i need?

    Can i use my GTS axels on the gte motor?
    What bout the ecu? do i need to do anything to it.
    what all is need to be done.

    Sorri bout all the Questions. This is my first altrac swap.

    exhaust setup, get a 1 inch all way then from the turbo and on, the bigger the better!

    everything pretty much the same, eg (radiator hose, part positions etc)

    Yes you can use the GTS axles. Infact I recommend it.

    Need a Turbo MAF and ECU for it to work correctly.

    3" Exhaust is a nice upgrade from the stock 2.5"

    There also is a bunch of small electrical items you need. I know you need a turbo Igniter switch, and some other stuff. I think Willie/Mafix has a complete list of the electronics.

    i meant 1 inch till it reaches the turbo, then 3" is fine 4 better 5 extreme

    no tubular manifolds! keep the factory manifold.
    list of basic needs
    tranny side starter trans (fe trannies)
    GTE motor, harness, ecu, afm, ignitor, fuel resistor pack, pump resistor pack, intercooler crap (there's a ton of it)
    walbro pump
    there's more but i'll get it later.
