-So heres a few pics for anyone wondering whats need to swap grills. e.g. pre to post or vice versa.

-youll need not only the grill but the headlight buckets, parking lights, and the ceter support that holds the horns ect.
-all these are directly swappable and will bolt right in. all headlight bits including the motor ect are the same between both. you just need the frames.
-pre to post has also been done without the buckets and center support bit, but this will involve some creative fastening.
-you can use the "celica" bit and eyelids from either one. some slight mod is needed to fit a post "celica" to a pre grille but nothing to invasive and fittament is good. if you look close my car has a post grille with pre "celica" bit. if you have a keen eye you can spot the difference between the two types.

-the pics show that the mounting locations for the grill clips have been moved. this piece is welded to the headlight bucket. you could cut/weld but its probably faster and a better fit just to swap. the buckets (off car) are pre and the buckets installed are post.

-the last pic shows the difference on the center bracket. pre bracket with post grill installed. this bracket looks exactly the same at the yard but infact is moved forward....i've got one more trip to make.

-this also gives you a good opportunity(sp?) to clean, rust treat, and re-paint.

damn...that seems to be a pain in the ass for a grille swap...many of my headlight pieces are rusted to shit.

when going from pre to post facelift I could use the middle one and use tieraps for the outer ends, has been working great for over 7 years :)
