Hi guys, need to pick your brains for a second....has anyone used the gen5 ST182 3SGE exhaust manifold(header) on a 3SGE (UK) 162 model? it doesnt half look 'long' ,does it just bolt straight on to the head and exhaust downpipe with no mod?Ive got one to use, also the heatshield.

    Cheers!

you need to get the header and the cat pipe under the engine...

I've been using them for years - cheap power boost
JWagner also has one fitted in USA

It fits GE and FE motors without any issues

The brackets are damn heavy, I chucked mine and only use the rear block mount -
no issues with vibration or cracking in the last few years

Thanks guys.It was Rich that suggested it a while back,so a friend that breaks gen5's and 6's got me one.It just looks very large so thanks for the pic too.Just one of the little things i will be doing in the New Year once work and Christmas out the way. They do look a better design, much more 'tubular' and probably better flow then, assume they probably not quite as prone to cracking as the old 162 ones either
