Gauge Cluster not lighting up?

The two center bulbs on my gauge cluster dont work. The middle of it is so dark at night.

ANyone have any ideas on what it might be? I swapped gauge clusters, checked all fuses and grounds, even changed blubs and still wont light up.

check the electrical connections on the back of the gauge cluster and make sure there is no corrosion, if everythings connecting to positive and ground on all of the lights and only a couple are working then its either the bulbs or the bulb holders

does anyone know which wires light up the two inside lights so I can test them or follow them until I find the problem?

I guess a diagram might help too.

I don't know which is positive and which is negative so don't assume red is positive it may well be negative......

Well you should probably have 4 lights in the dash and if you only have the 2
center ones not working then the plugs and wiring connected to the cluster is not the problem.

If all 4 of your lights are out there is a dimmer switch to the left of the steering wheel that controls the
brightness of the lights in the dash. If it is turned all the way counterclockwise it will shut the lights off.

So if the 2 outside lights work then the 2 middle lights are getting power sent
to them and the problem has to be either with the bulbs or the sockets that hold them.

To test the socket apply 12v and ground as pictured. If the bulb doesn't light
(you have to put a bulb in the socket first) try another bulb that you know works.
If it doesn't work then you need to change the socket. If the bulb does light
then try bending the little tabs that you applied 12v & ground up a bit more
so they make better contact with the printed circuit sheet.

Ok thanks, Im going to go look at it right now. I bet its the little tabs on the LEDs that are not making good contact.

Also my temp gauge doesnt work. With either cluster. I put a new temp sensor, and new temp sensor connector.

Which part of the cluster deals with the temp gauge?

ok I think I got the cluster working but now my radio and my clock dont come on. My fan/heater works but not my radio or the clock.

I think something got disconnected or there something not grounding. BUt all I took out was my cluster.

now that sounds like a fuse ;p

I checked my fuses though. Atleast the one for my radio and dome light.

I have no clock, no radio at all, no dome light. My shifter still lights up, my hazards and defrost light up, my gauge cluster is fine but just those 3 things dont work.

its the 15 amp cig fuse on the driver side fuse box.

    Thanks,

It ended up being the dome light fuse under the hood. My underhood fuse box was all faded and I didnt know which fuses did what at first haha.
