Hey guys.. finally got my motor from the junk yard.. now while it's out of the car, I want to change the main seals in it. I already need to buy a intake and exhaust manifolt gasket.. so I was thinking of changing the oil pan and the valve covers at the same time because there is a minor oil leak. I mean really minor.. I think the excess oil on the motor might be some bad pooring when changing the oil. Anyway.. what do you guys think of this set on ebay??

How much you figer it would cost for the valve covers, oil pan, intake and exhaust gaskets at an auto parts store? Would it be more affordable to get the set on ebay??

    Anyway.. thanks guys.

thats a damn good price, you would be lucky to get the valve covers/oilpan/waterpump gasket for that price, however that makes me question the quality of the gaskets, but i suppose it couldnt hurt just dont use the head gasket unless you know for sure its a good one like rol etc.

Have you put them in your motor yet?

I was going to just buy them at a local parts store, but for all those gaskets it will run me a pretty big bill. Really I dont need all of those.. but it would be nice to have some extras.

    cometic...that's what i'm using now.

i wouldn't see the need for one of these on a factory GE motor. these usually only apply to turbo motors, or those that use high compression.

you should see if they would sponsor mine too!! :D

My brother said he’s dealt with the top gasket company from my original post. He bought a gasket set for his Integra from them.

Anyway... you guys ever heard of this company?
