Front Wheel Bearings

    can i request a how to? damn, i took the rotor off, and i was lost, my dad wont be here till 2morrow, and i work 2morrow... argh... so if any one has one, that would help...

    you're going to need a bearing press to get it out and put the new one in... I ended up taking mine apart and taking the knuckle in to a shop to get the bearing pressed.

    also, don't forget to mark where the adjuster is on the top bolt that holds the strut to the knuckle... if you get it out of place you have to get the camber re-aligned. for that matter, don't let the tie rod rotate once you detach it either... that will really mess things up.

    Definately just take it to a shop. If you press that bearing in crooked your F(*$#@%. I had a buddy of mine who is a machinist do it. He made all the correct jigs to press it them out and in.

    lol i didn't use a press. i have special tools to do these.
