THIS HERES MY PROJECT NAMED FLATLINER......

i wanted you guys on here to know somewhat the history and shyt I've been through.

so my grandmother dies.........DEC. 08'......and my mother inherits a sweet looking 1987 celica st.....with 37,342 miles (original)........brings it all the way back here to Oregon from Ohio.

sry don't have any pics from then......wasn't much of a picture taker....

so my mom gives me the car with 42,203 miles....just gives me IT!.....im like sweet......

just picture this......no scrapes and no rust..(except on one fender) and pretty straight.

i go to Salem one night and i blew the head gasket and cracked the head....messed up rite....so after 1700 dollars work....(didn't have time myself and also the know how)....

so shes running just fine......just fine............till i look down to make sure my CD is gonna make it into the slot.


BOOM!


then this.................!!!!



terrible huh!....i was only doing about 25-30 mph, totaled for the damage was about 7,000.

BUT THE MOTOR WAS UNDAMAGED.

so i went home and went to craigslist and almost immediately i see the same year and color...also and auto only difference was it was a gt and a hatch........so i went out the next day and took a look to see how similar they really were........

so i paid 400 bucks for a running gt...needed a couple of things...like a rad and a water pump......i ran it on the freeway and maintained it for about three exits before blowing the rad to pieces..(had small crack).

so i swapped in the motor as soon as i got it home...(sry no pics)....and i now have 70,500 miles on the body.............i swapped everything from the suspension to the interior ...lower dash and carpet. i should've kept a bunch more stuff but i didn't have the room.







ive done some more mods like add a cold air intake.. and have now done the starter mod thingy.


got some mms 17inch wheels with kumo tires for 450 from a friend.

was gonna install the trd spoiler from the 7th gens but i really didnt like the look so i went with a factory one instead....


had to add some stereo equipment of course


painted the grill black,


installed my factory spoiler (which is a different color)



have installed my custom shorty antenna


tinted the windows limo (5%) on all but the windshield which was done at 35%


added 25mm spacers on her

got some new tread on her



upgraded to all black interior from a gts i had bought.


upgraded my lights to ebay crappers with city lights...lol....which now rest back in the box they came waiting......


went ahead and got some reverse white gauges with blue l.e.d.'s



was thinking of adding some 5th gen mirrors but something just says wrong for this car.


added a din compartment under my radio.


added a blue l.e.d. in my keyring loop


added my front marker deletes, that i got from rickstar22

heres some pics of today and when i got the muffler installed......i checked all of my suspension stuff and they look just fine.










finally installed the teq oil cap rick gave me, its only been like a month or so



heres a pic of the spacers i run, took this cuz i had the wheels off for the washing today





and the car washing it self. still havent gone anywhere to get more pics.

well he better be good at it....he own exclusive films in washington......they did my tint on every car my family owns and so many of my friends cars as well.....they do the detail thing as well.
