1982 Alfa Romeo Alfasud 1500 Sprint MK3 Grand Prix - (longest name in the world?) 30yrs later and I still have it! It's standing at a mate's in Africa being neglected the last 6yrs. In a way I was spoilt from the start, these things would outgun most 2l cars and the handling is unbelievable, even by todays standards.
"You cannot be a true motorhead until you own at least one Alfa in your life" - Jeremy Clarkson I think there is the answer for why you are one of the biggest "motorheads" here Btw, my Celi is my first car.
Beautiful, tempramental, exilerating are things you'd associate with women. They were sold in the US, not in any numbers though. That van reminds me of my mom's 69 Combi camper I used to "borrow" when I needed a shag wagon - good times
I hate how the front end of Alfas look, that horrible triangle goatee grill :barf My first was an '88 Corolla Seca, before I knew about cars. It's still sitting out the back of my parents house. It inhaled a heap of dirt and consequently will start, but won't do much else. I think it has the 4AGE/FE? not sure.. It was carbed and 1.8L. Me and my mates had great times getting sideways on dirt and towing old car bonnets with seats tied on around the dirt tracks  Aaron.
It's not that one then, I'll have to get my Dad to look at the engine and get the model # for me. Aaron.
