Anybody have one of these they want to sell? First pic taken from an '86 brochure. Second pic taken from an '86 mag article shows it installed next to lumbar switch.
Only ever seen one or two on the forums in the last several years. I asked to buy it and was turned down. I think the best way to source this part is to find out which models it was available to and go looking at the yards for those cars. It was a dealer installed optino so I think that it was available on everything from at least 1986 to 1989.....you found the 86 article and I have the 89 brochure....and me thinks it was available beyond 89.
really?!?!? i have a complete stock alarm i pulled at a yard... was going to use it but its just sitting. no idea weather it works or not, but all the bits are there. always wondered what it would sound like. -offers? -iirc was an 89 gt that it came out of. also saw one in an alltrac i was looking at for a project. im assuming it was just a dealer option, the install looked "aftermarket". I think someone else just took some pics showing this on thier factory alarm aswell. -edit: yep, the alarm says right on it "toyota". i have the siren ect. I even took the bits of loom that are slpiced into so i could use them for reference.
