Lol :D yeah i have figured out possible solution the a/c or climate controls as its also known as the unit in the car needs to be replaced as i have nothing when i switch it on Lo but one up from that and i have air comming through so im leaning towards just ripping that out and replacing it and see what the diagnostics say

probably a bad connection on the board! sometimes they corrode and need to be re-soldererd. allblackalltrac sells them already fixed and tested, or you can take your's apart and try and fix it yourself!

thanks guys i'll pull it apart tomorrow and have a look see if anythings burnt ect i do know the previous ower reversed the polarity on the battery   which stuffed up the alt 100 fuse and the door lock relay seems to be fixed just got new fuses for both. donno where the door relay is but it doesnt seem to be draining the battery any more :D this couldnt have caused the problem with the a/c controls could it?

well if it fried all that then sure! maybe it was just a tiny connection on the heater c/u that got fried and caused just low not to work....

    .

yep i have a/c i bought a new battery and it seems to have helped but it still sometimes doesn't start when its cold. btw the a/c is throwing up error code 51 at me is that because it needs to be gassed as it doesnt have any refrigerent in it atm.

    cheers

CODE 51 is tps out of ajustment.its ezy to fix start car then loosen the tps screws then turn untill idle gose up or down then lock the screws down when the idle just gose down then turn a hair more.then recheck for codes :)

I unplugged my a/c since I don't have a button for it on my panel anyway and I don't get an error code....perhaps you could try unplugging it?

Yeah i would but down here in Australia it gets pretty hot in summer and as my interior is black that doesn't help either :D The a/c runs fine got it regassed today it goes cold then i stick it on heat and it goes hot so there doesn't seem to be a problem there im stumped

you sure about that eric? 41 is TPS i thought. 51 is AC idle up.

    .

According to the book I have Error code 51: A/C Switch signal.

A/C switch on, idle switch off during diagnostics

    A/C Switch signal circuit
    A/C Switch
    A/C Amplifier
    TPS Sensor circuit
    TPS
    ECM

hope this helps now to rule out what in that list is fine and working properly!
