Well today I was going down the highway, my engine just died. Now lately it was making a small ticking noise, and when I restarted the engine it was a loud knocking around the 1st cylinder area, and it idled like it was othe verge of stopping again. Now my buddy who owns a 91 Celica said that it might be that the timing belt snapped, but I'm thinking more that I effup my 1st cylinder.

    Any words of wisdom?

Yeah thats what I had thought. The old engine/tranny had a bit over 437xxx kms on her, so shes paid her dues.
