Hey guys my 88 Trac is throwing code [41]----{TPS]-----------------[OPen or short circuit in throttle pos sens (VTA)]---------------------[TPS or CKT ECU] other then checking the connections on the TPS, any suggestions on what i could/should be looking for?
Re: Engine Code 41 and more... okay so i am not entirly sure on what the TPS looks like, but i am guessing its on the throttle body also i have noticed most of the heat from my engine is comming from around the alternator, is this normal for a Alltrac?
they get hot everywhere. the TPS is the black box opposite the throttle cam. unplug it, clean the connector out, plug it back in, reset the ecu.
