Hello. I'm new to this site and i own a st162 - 87 gt It is 100% original exept the stereo but here's the thing the cv joints are in pretty rough condition so i figured why not change the whole axle while i'm at it. But the thing is no scrapyard/retailer have the right axles so i'm asking you guys if there is another car that have the same axles that'll fit mine? I have the 3sge engine but most of the shafts are for 3sfe or 1988 models (is that only 165?) exept for austrailia where they seem to grow on trees... I live in sweden And from what i've heard only 1800 of the 86-87 celicas were sold here so not many parts left.
I use a gearbox from the ST202, so those axles would fit into your box as well, not sure about the other side . I threw away most of my spares after moving 2 times the last few years, but if you want I can have a look into some good old adresses I know .
Well if the t16 has the same gearbox as t20 then i guess it would fit. i would be really happy if you could check the adresses
