I have a pretty bad dent on the drivers side door just along the white trim. I noticed when I took the interior panels off theres several layers of metal between the exterior of the door and myself. I assume this is for protection however before I start trying to unbolt the door I was wondering if anyone has tried it this way to bang the dent out from behind? I was also considering using one of those kits that drills a hole into the panel and pops it out and then fill/weld the hole shut after and paint over.

    Any suggestions would be great!

use a pdr first....dont drill......you could try to push the dent out but usually its already formed a memory and will just pop back.

first take your trim off to fix the door dent......you should be able to push it out most of the way........but you'' have to either get new door trim of somehow unbend yours.

How do I push it? By getting that paintless dent remover? I can't access the dent from the inside.

thats pretty bad man. personally id say just go get a second hand door. if your determined to fix it i hope your handy with body work.
as for a backyarder repair, heres what ya need to do.
Take of the interior trim, take your window out and yours gonna have to bash it out as far as you can. basically try everything. blocks of wood and a big hammer. a pry bar and lever it out etc.

once you have the bulk of it out its time tto grab your dolly and flipper. bring it up as good as you can. access is shit so you may need a friend help holding the dolly inside the door.
get it as good as you can and then your just gonna have to bog the sucker up. more then likely you will end up with a fair bit in there lol.

as for the exterior door trim pull it off and gently heat it with a low setting on the heat gun or a descent hair dry. get it flat then quickly cool it with a wet rag to try and reset its memory. you wont have to get it perfect just close. then eurathane will handle the rest when you stick it back on.

having said all that tho i really reccomend just get another door

-just peel the trim off. itll be fine to re-use. its just a big thick piece of rubber, very flexible. lay it out in the sun if needed.

You can try sticking in a flat piece of football or maybe a flat soccer ball inside the door around the dent area and pump the ball while its in the door. It should be able to push it out. That might work, best thing about it is its free if you have a football.

Holy crap thats the most ingenius idea I've come across. I actually have one of those window door pumps to unlock doors that triple a uses. I wonder if I can do that. Theres a space far enough that I can see to drop it into.

All the advice that you got there from all the guy's sound cool you should not have to buy another door it's a easy dent
to be removed after you have removed the door panel their will be heaps of space to get to it if you have some one to help you even better get a long piece of wood like a base ball bat could just do the job just try this trick sometimes it works some one pushing on the dent from inside then that rubber bead it's very strong try pulling it fast when you are close to the dent it will work like a puller and just maybe dent will pull out or most of it good luck rest of advice sounds ok
