hey everybody, does anyone know if there exists a putty or goo that i can order to fill a missing chunk of my cylinder head? now hte head will run fine for a while but eventually blow, and start burning coolant from the corrosion,

now the pic may look off, but the corrosion stops just at the mark of the "fire" or "burn" ring.

Now is there a putty or goo that you can put on htere just to ensure it wont start burning coolant?

    all help or info appreciated

I doubt it that's some pretty high pressure in there (160psi) I believe....I don't recall ever hearing of such a thing and the last time I tried to put a head gasket on a car that had a fucked up head it blew within a month....so good luck :D

The only putty used in that area - is used by Machine shops that use it to gauge valve clearance......

You could try welding it with Aluminium but You would never find a true soultion other than to replace it....

there is no puddy that will fix that. take the cylinder head to a machine shop and see what they say. there is a very slim chance that they can throw a nice weld on there and machine the head.
