HEY i got a toyota celica and the owner sed before i purcahsed it, that the rad might be blocked, the rad wasnt blocked but the cooling system was very rusty/chunky+corroded and the coolant lines in the cylidner head were corroded aswell, piston 2 & 3 were fine, but 1 acceptable 4 questionable take a look and tell me if u think i need a new head, some aluminium welds? or to just go with it and put it on.

I think you'll be able to clean that up. If the heads warped though, you're SOL and you'll never get it to seal. Put a straight edge across it and look to see how bad it is.

um cameras won at the moment, but on close inspection (aside from pics) it appears, the corrosion is is just in hte coolant lines, and stops JUST touchgin the fire ring or "burn ring" on the head gasket is this 2 close for comfort? or still do i need a new head?

Your better off sending the head out to a machine shop and getting zero'd out anyway. That way to know everything is good on it.

he might be able to deck the head..[like alot] and put a thicker HG in there and get away with that if the decking cleans that up.

If all else fails just buy a junk head or one off ebay..tops like a hundred bucks shipped, Although im not supporting ebay JDM sellers right now..
