my seal on my master cylinder was leaking so i replaced it and i noticed that i had drippage coming from that cream colored valve thing between the metal line that comes from the intake mani to the brake booster..can i dump this or do i need to replace this?

~I can shoot a pic if you dont know what im talking about.

A pic would be very helpful, but I think what your talking about is a one way valve that sits in the vacuum line in between the booster and intake manifold. Yes, you need to have one there, so replace it from something from a wrecker or buy a new one.

it is supposed to do that. it's the vacuum valve for the brake booster.
