well might as well be suer before i go ripping shit up. anything i should watch out for? will an impact get teh nut off and back on or will i have to do the breaker bar thing? doesnt sound too hard but you never know
we impacted the bolt off when the alt belt came off but the pulley itself wouldn't move. now seeing as yours is already falling off I dont tihnk you'll have the same prob
to get my pully off i had to use a blow tourch and a pully puller(cant remember what their exact name is)
you'll need a puller....but as you don;t plan on reusing that pulley just pry and hammer and pry and torch and pry and then kick it a few times....and then give up till tomorrow and then generously lube it up torch it again and then plead with it and then eventually it might pop off
ok some1 wanna give me a visual of a puller i will need, must go rent one but got frustrated last time at can tire cause they are fn useless
it will look something like this most kits come with an assortment of bolts but if it doesn't you will need a couple bolts for the sides that thread into the holes on the pulley....then you just tighten the center bolt and it pushes on the crank which pulls the pulley off
