Well im really looking into upgrading my suspension to something abit stiffer... Im looking into and reading up about a coilover setup for our 162's...Ive read a guide over at toymods.net about fitting ST185 coilovers into a St165..Which brings me to my first question.. any difference between st162/5 struts... if so what? If coilovers is out of the question, are there any simple was to stiffen the car up rebound wise?? Also anyone know the heaviest spring/strut combo out there (if that made any sense?) king/pedders etc??(maybe just for Australians?) Cheers, Jai.
Adding another question to your post since I'd be interested to know which springs are stiffer... Intrax or Eibach pro's maybe the Koni's? I don't know -K
The Eibachs are stiffer. And last I checked in my Koni dealer catalog there are no springs for sale......
koni shocks and eibach springs. cheaper option is what i have and i've been very happy with: intrax spring and kyb agx shocks. note for both shocks you need to do the rear strut conversion.
the only difference i can see between st165 and st185 struts is the front hubs use 24mm bolts instead of 19mm.
