DOes anyone know a cheap source for coil springs? I want a different set of springs for the front of my car and I checked Summit's price for Eibach springs and they want $65 a piece!

yea, I could do that. I was hoping someone would know a cheaper manufacterer than Eibach. The springs I need are for coil overs. I want to try a stiffer spring in the front.

I checked with tirerack and they don't sell individual coils. I'm still looking for a cheaper manufacterer the Eibach.

oh i know. the whole set for front and back is about 200. which i think isnt too terrible, but it could always be better. hahaha

Have you looked into using a coil-over set? I'm pretty sure springs for them are fairly cheap, and you can get any rating you want.

I have coil-overs which is why I am looking for individual coils. Eibachs are $65 each spring from Summit. I need a 7" long, 2.5" ID and 500 lb springs.

Sorry, I missed that in your other post. I'd check into some stock car spring manufactures, they all make the size you are looking for. Springs from Eibach, Landrum, Afco, Hyperco, and SSS are all in the $60-$70 retail price range. But if you look around you could find a better price than that.

Here's a site I pulled from Circle Track, they sell SSS springs for $39:

The SSS website is here: http://www.bluecoilspring.com

We don't even have 1500 members on this forum! That is total bs... We really need some companies producing more stuff... I had almost the same issue with my 5 series, and it was irritating. I really love 80s cars, but unless you have a honda from back then, the parts are scarce...

Thanks for the link. I checked with the Circle track place and they only have 10" springs. The blue spring site has the spring I need for $62 plus shipping. I would probably go with Eibachs with the small price difference.
