cheap clean looking engine! thoughts?

    my vert got 220k on the 3sfe, thinking about swapping a 5sfe 2.2 over, everything should be the same just need block and head right, rest will swap over

    this guy supposely has taken care of everything, would a 3sfe oil pan fit right on a 5sfe since this guy has the pan modded for turbo, also would i run my 3sfe fuel rail w/injectors or go get that from 5sfe

    fixed it, just recopied it works fine now

    its just the block,head,value cover

    which would be all that i would need right? besides maybe fuel rail injectors from junkyard?

    It's an S motor so most of your ancillaries should bolt straight on. 5S-FE injectors have a slightly higher flow rating than 3S-FE injectors (213cc/min vs 200cc/min, see here) so I would suggest finding a fuel system off a 5S instead of using your 3S setup. Not sure if the 3S throttle body will be big enough to feed a 5S either?

    All that said though, wiring is going to be your biggest problem; if the engine doesn't come with a loom and ECU then i reckon you'll save yourself a world of hassle by spending a bit more and just buying a complete motor, you'll get peace of mind from replacing all the usual service items yourself that way too. Just my $0.02.
