    Guys,

it's been a year since I had the dash out so I con't remember that good... can i get the central airvents out with the dash in? I'm planning to make me some meters there :).

Pictures are welcome too as I don't have those anymore from the back of the dash.

    and girls hopefully :lol

The 12 month dash............ is that 'old timers' brain fade I read :lol

On a serious note, I have no idea on the vents but looking at them I would have to say no without pulling the dash and that's some serious mod for 1 or 2 visuals............. decide on another spot and leave the dash alone :cheers2

iirc the vents have screws holding them in from the backside. so dash has to come out.

sigh... that will def have to wait for next spring as it's not getting any warmer in my non-heated garage :).

yep screws in the back...it only takes about 45 mins or so to get it out....take quick tripos in the cold and then run back inside for a bit....lol

no, I'll wait for spring. I'd like to do it properly and run wires as well. Think I'll put in water temp, A/F wide band and maybe a third but not sure which one. I allready have boost, oil press, oil temp and voltage...

Cables you reckon............. Is there a dash in that beast :lol

Aaron's econometer might be for you and you don't have to muck with the dash.......... I sent him a pm the other day and he's getting close to a prototype that I'd be happy to test.

    video proof or gtfo :lachtot

kidding, I don't doubt it wouldn't take long after you've done it a few times. Although there is a fair bit of your dash missing, Mafix.. lol..

I measured that I would have 60mmx220mm of room available. So that is good enough for either 3 52mm gauges or 1 with 2 square things like a hks turbotimer...but I'm guessing it will be 3 gauges, water temp, a/f ratio and whatever is a good choice as third.

Oil temp would your best shot for the the third one imo, it's quite handy and important.

I allready have that.. I now have oil temp, oil pressure, turbo pressure and voltage in 1 meter. And yes, that is more easy to read while drivng as you might think :)
