Celicasteve's 1989 UK Celica. Radiator changed after 23 years.

My name is Steve and have been a lover of the Celica ST series since 1993, although as a fifteen year old schoolboy, I would walk into the Toyota showroom and dream of owning a Celica one day. This was my first Celica (1987 model).

I kept this till 2000 when I came across this immaculate 1989 model, so part exchanged it. I keep it totally original.

And this is what I love doing best !

Recently had a pair of new anti-roll bar links fitted.

Over the years, it has won several trophies but has yet not come first in any event :sad Here, it can be seen parked next to Rich's Alwayzsidewayz 's beast ST165.

    And won this,

The Celica was used everyday, wind, rain, snow, until the last two years when I bought a 1987 Supra which you can see parked in the garage while I get on with polishing the ultimate driving machine :)

The paint an the time you put into really makes me think if I should get my car painted black or flat black.... Well this will not be anytime soon as my motor work has to come first. Like always Steve Great looking celica!

Jeez, your cars are beautiful. I remember first waxing my Celica about 6-7 years ago, when it still had immaculate paint. I looked just like you when waxing mine :hehe It's like pride and and a sense of accomplishment that's shown all over the car. :D

Looks good Rick. You're gettin' there especially how you really emphasized the red color. It really caught my eye.

Nice, it's even brought out the black bits - wonder if that would work on mine?

Strange to see the overflow and fusebox swapped around like that?
No offence, I think your bay lets the car down and some bits cleeaned up would make a huge difference.

Strange also, you seem to have the motor Sean says doesn't exist in UK?

I like the older tail lights with the later revisions, did you swap them or the previous guy?

Yes I know about the bay, it's never been one of my strong points, but I do try and spray and wipe it as much as I can.

I am the second owner, the previous owner was in his 80s when he sold it to a dealership, so I would assume the tailights are the originals in the UK.

What I meant is to wire brush the brackets etc and re-paint them,
not sure about the exhaust cover? anodizing, nickel maybe?
I also got a problem with engine cleaners here, wait till I get my special potion
    from Africa.
I intend marketing it here sometime and maybe Rich would like to rep it over there?

Cool Rick, I downloaded it - watch out
