    Hi guys
I currently have a set of st185 single pot brakes on my 162
Unfortunately I Cooked them last night

Now I have a few questions, I've ordered ebc red pads for it but starting to think they may not be enough.

The car pre merrily goes road racing but also sees time attack event 3 times a year

Do I stick with the ebc pads or do I goto a cieka performance big brake kit on the front ?

Also I had to space out the caliper mount bracket between hub and the caliper, is that a bad idea or ?

    Thanks in advance

185 brakes and rotors and hawk hps pads. should suit fine. eric uses this setup on his alltrac and hasn't had a worry. i used hawk pads because the ebc reds can't take the heat and what a huge difference!

I'm actually about to do a ST185 brake conversion to my Celica, everyone with the conversion says they have no complaints. I'd start there before going any bigger, sadly our fourth gen brakes are pretty sad on their own...

I'd already done the conversion, drive the car once a month so the until test of the brakes didn't go so well

Not sure when the 185 had single pot, but I'm referring to twin pots :s

But if you can afford a Ceika kit I don't see it hurting

185 twin pots are the same as 165. they suck.

Well they should certainly be better than the single pot 162 garbage.

I have the ST185 carlos sainz single pot brakes on front but sometimes want some more power to it, still running standard brake booster. Maybe I should upgrade to ST185 brake booster.
