I'm getting the Celica on the road soon, and I was wondering if this grease would be good for the brake caliper sliders or not. It's called Grease One, it's in a cardboard tube and it says its water resistant (or proof, I forget), high temperature, high pressure. Also any tips on removing a caliper that won't slide would be good.

    yes that will work.
to get the slider out, torch the bracket till it glows.

Thanks. I don't have a touch, so I was thinking of WD-40 or something similar and let a sit a while.

    Is the grease rubber-safe (phnarr)?

It doesn't say that, but it does say NLGL, GC-LB, wheel bearing and chassis lube, petroleum oil (grease), and fortified with slick ptfe 50

I use Kleen Flo's EZE Slide synthetic brake lubricant - 100% safe for rubber boots, etc.
