hey guys just signed up few weeks ago after i bought my first car! st162 88 coupe =]! payed AU$1200. BARGIN perfect mechanicly mint interior and aside from two tiny dints on front left panel shes perfect im not jkn! ive done a few mods already 5 inch cannon exhuast tip, for an alround nice low note customised the auto gear shift to look manual (hated the bulkiness of the auto) had to rewire a swith and place over drive button in center console (Y) looks great! put in new stereo, minimal but sounds mint sanyo head unit alpine amp(mounted under passenger seat) running 12inch jbl boxed sub in boot and sony explode 4inch's in dash and 6x6's in parcel tray..bit mismatched but i got amp for 10 bucks from the tip and could only aford the cheap sonys lol love my car and im stoked this site is dedicated to the 4th gen! i REALLY! want sum 16 inch or 15 inch simple racing rims with low profile tyres. also plan to lower her an inch as shes already pretty low and perhaps down the track a full respray...OH! and i desperatley need the front kit as it looks a teeny bit crapy without. cheers comment back with ideas and wat u think so far....heres some pics =] Front view (no kit :cry: ) you can see how it looks a bit silly without the front kit... interior rear end (exhaust :lol: ) drivers side gear shift mod (overdrive switch shown 8) ) amp placement sub in boot ENJOY!
wow nice! i like that look! you are right about the front lip. it is needed. what kit is on that car? i have seen that one on a celi in the junk yard went back to get it and it was gone. damn! but if you are looking for some rims you should try the rota auto-x wheels. they come in black with a red lip. would look nice i think.
haha very pretty sub box indeed!. i painted it to match the amp i scored from the tip....no im not gay, im just confident with my sexuality haha :ninja: not to sure wat kit it is....but yer SSV kit sounds familiar....probly saw it on my many a google search. haha sucks bout the junk yard disaster. i can honestly say i have not seen another coupe like mine where i live. ive been to heaps of wreckers and wat not and still no luck is there any reason why? is this model uncommon in australia? rare? or maybe people just dont like them lol and ill look up them wheels thanks every one =]...sounds corny lol but its really awesome having access to a forum like this (Y)
