AS you guys already know, I prefer the Euro/JDM OEM stuff, but I can be too picky with this one. Keep your eyes open, and let me know !!! If the description isn't readable, I'm looking for an OEM blue leather steering wheel with GT-S/GT-R horn button... :hehe
Rick, I think GT-R just has "Twincam" on it, may be able to help with the centre. What does yours say on it?
Mine says Celica GT-S on it... If it just says Twin Cam on it, I think I'll pass. I thought I saw one with the GT-R on it, I must have been mistaken...Just a blue leather wrapped wheel then, unless the pads fit different, then I guess I'll have no choice...
This is how both of mine look. Well sorta, one says GT-S and the other will say Turbo heh. If you just want that center thing I can rip it out & send it your way. It's blue, off an 89. Postage and it's yours.
I appreciate that a ton !!! But what needs replacing is the wheel itself, the leather is beyond repair. Keep your eyes peeled for me !!!! :hsdance
To my knowledge, Japan is the only country which had a GT-R in its Celica line-up (maybe Australia too?). The steering wheel pad was marked "Twin Cam". A picture out of an original JDM brochure. A pre-facelift, but it's the same thing for the post-facelift GT-R. I think that a 4gen GT-R marked wheel pad doesn't exist.
After seeing the Grey/Black one Marc put up, I could do that too if it had the GT-S horn pad... Make it a tiny bit easier maybe...Ah, Hell... To do a true GT-R wannabe, I should probably get the correct Twin Cam horn button... And looking some more, it looks like 88-89 only...Cruise buttons on the right arm instead of below the pad... This is gonna take forever I'm thinking.... :banghead
i think wonderz mentioned that he just had one of his leather ones redone...not sure what colour though.
The only one here that doesn't say Twin Cam is the GT four. I sent one to Redrocket01 and he had it recovered somewhere over there.
Would this be a option for you, they look nice but I still think there would be a couple of areas that it would not cover. http://www.wheelskins.com/index.php
