    Hey Guys! Just arrived home from the best drive I have had in a long long time. Took me about two hours. Started in Abbotsford, drove to Mission, back around Harrison Hot springs, and back through Chilliwack. It was nice and dark out and no one on the back roads. Gave me time to enjoy some music and the sweet sweet sound of my Celica engine =D

    Anyone go on a really nice drive lately?

    I drive too far for work every day I don't know what a "nice" drive is anymore.....

    Perhaps when I get the celi back on the road I'll have a nice drive lol....

    I firmly believe that if it wasn't for cars, I'd probably be some kind of drug addict.

    yes something about driving your car when you are mad at your roommates and your girlfriend is with you and willing to let you endanger both of your lives at 2 in the morning whipping it around 90 degree turns, just some how makes life a little nicer.... :phones: :w00t: :binkybaby: :wtg:

    Last thursday afternoon rush hour drive home. It was snowing and all the cars that are normally going 120 were down to 80 in the slow(plowed.."turtle") lane. I was passing everyone at 110 in the fast(unplowed) lane but my favorite by far was the cop car I went flying by :lol:

    cops reaction ---> :mad: :yernuts:

    my reaction ---> :wave:

    ^^^ That's funny I just drive by, smile, then wave and say, "see ya later pig!" I'm not a personal fan of cops, but they keep people in check pretty well around here, and usually aren't too nice about it. I have yet to be pulled over, only because by god's graces, I am lucky. I don't know, as long as they keep their distance I am ok with them. I worked for one a couple summers ago, pulling hay out of his little field behind his house, and delivering it with my brother in law. He was a pretty cool guy, and payed well. Anyhow, back to the subject at hand......

    I haven't taken a random drive since I got my car, but this spring/summer, as I am off to go fishing, I should be able to find some really cool roads to take me to my destination! :) Nothing like a nice drive out in the country, past the city limit signs, to keep you somewhat sane with all the chaos! I agree with youds and monkey. Driving is a soothing process, and you can relieve your anger with a few too many MPH, but if it wasn't for my cars, I would be on a terrible road of drugs and alcohol. I have gone 25 years this march, without every being drunk, or drinking for that matter, or doing any kind of drugs that were put in front of me. So I feel that driving and working on my car is the best high I can get. :D

    WOW so many responses! I agree with everyone who said it relieves stress, that was my main reason for going for the drive. Girl issues :p But who needs a girl when you have a Celi =D (besides the obvious reasons ^^).

    I'm slowly learning about cars and so far I love it. I haven't taken any mechanic courses or anything like that but I work with computers all day and night so its kinda the same thing, "Whatever you take out put back in or it don't work". Driving helps with stress so much, by the time I arrived home I was excited to make a post on st162.com and see who else had a nice ride, and didn't seem to worry about my problems no more =D
