A thread that died on the GT4oc, has me interested.

right then guys and gals as there are many of you out there that have gone thru turbo's and rebuilds thru the ages what im wondering is has anyone gone down the true bearing route with the ct or is it just 360 degree bearings everyone has gone???

has anyone tried using a garret internals with a ct exhaust and compressor housing??

My racing class says you have to keep the the exhaust and compressor housing, but everything else is free. Now I do have spare turbo that I could sacifice, but in the UK its looking like it would be mega money, any thought to getting the work done in the US?

It would make fitting easier and also do away with some of the dodgy manifolds that I have seen.

    Thoughts, opinions?

it's the size available. there simple is not enough room to use ball bearings.
