BEAMS REDTOP head bolt torque settings?

    As above,before the Beams goes into my 162 we want to double check the torque settings for the head as we will be fitting a new gasket and head bolts (Toyota ones) for peace of mind.Ive looked on a few forums but without the exact info from a JDM manual,I don't want to guess at it;some say its exactly the same as a Gen3 3SGE engine would be....but wont swear to it! :crazy

    all cool,just had a PM from a guy whos rebuilt many a Beams lump,hes confirmed its 36lb/ft (49nm) and a 90 degree turn.Think that is actually the same as a normal rev3 3SGE.In case anyone else needs the info later thought id post it up :study

    New head gasket? Why? It's multi layer steel type.
