Taken from another board, but useful to know when thinking about transplants etc. Although I disagree about the gen 1 3s-GE throttle body its bigger than the gen 1 3s-GTE. 3S standard engine specs : Bore and stroke - 86mm * 86mm Rod centre to centre length - 138mm Gen 1 3S-GE : Power - 140ps (138bhp) @ 6400rpm Torque - 17.5kg-m (127ft.lb) @ 4800rpm compression ratio - 9.2:1 Cam duration (IN/EX) - 240°/240° Cam lift (IN/EX) - 7.2mm/7.2mm Valve diameter (IN/EX) - 33.5mm/29.0mm Throttle body diameter - 55mm Injector size - 250cc Notes - T-VIS Gen 1 3S-GTE : Power - 185ps (182bhp) @ 6000rpm Torque - 24.5kg-m (177ft.lb) @ 4000rpm compression ratio - 8.5:1 Cam duration (IN/EX) - 232°/232° Cam lift (IN/EX) - 7.15mm/7.15mm Valve diameter (IN/EX) - 33.5mm/29.0mm Throttle body diameter - 55mm Injector size - 430cc Notes - T-VIS, CT26 Gen 2 3S-GE : Power - 165ps (163bhp) @ 6800rpm Torque - 19.5kg-m (141ft.lb) @ 4800rpm compression ratio - 10:1 Cam duration (IN/EX) - 244°/244° Cam lift (IN/EX) - 8.5mm/8.5mm Valve diameter (IN/EX) - 33.5mm/29.0mm Throttle body diameter - 55mm Injector size - 295cc Notes - AICS Gen 2 3S-GTE : Power - 225ps (222bhp) @ 6000rpm Torque - 31kg-m (224ft.lb) @ 4000rpm compression ratio - 8.8:1 Cam duration (IN/EX) - 236°/236° Cam lift (IN/EX) - 8.2mm/8.2mm Valve diameter (IN/EX) - 33.5mm/29.0mm Throttle body diameter - 55mm Injector size - 430cc Notes - T-VIS, CT26 Gen 3 3S-GE : Power - 180ps (177bhp) @ 7000rpm Torque - 19.5kg-m (141ft.lb) @ 4800rpm compression ratio - 10.3:1 Cam duration (IN/EX) - 252°/240° Cam lift (IN/EX) - 9.8mm/8.2mm Valve diameter (IN/EX) - 33.5mm/29.0mm Throttle body diameter - 60mm Injector size - 365cc Notes - AICS Gen 3 3S-GE Auto : Power - 170ps (172bhp) @ 7000rpm Torque - 19.5kg-m (141ft.lb) @ 4800rpm compression ratio - 10.3:1 Cam duration (IN/EX) - 240°/240° Cam lift (IN/EX) - 8.7mm/8.2mm Valve diameter (IN/EX) - 33.5mm/29.0mm Throttle body diameter - 60mm Injector size - 365cc Notes - AICS Gen 3 3S-GTE : Power - 255ps (251bhp) @ 6000rpm Torque - 31kg-m (224ft.lb) @ 4000rpm compression ratio - 8.5:1 Cam duration (IN/EX) - 240°/236° Cam lift (IN/EX) - 8.7mm/8.2mm Valve diameter (IN/EX) - 33.5mm/29.0mm Throttle body diameter - 60mm Injector size - 540cc Notes - CT20B Gen 4 3S-GE : Power - 200ps (197bhp) @ 7000rpm Torque - 21kg-m (152ft.lb) @ 6000rpm compression ratio - 11:1 Cam duration (IN/EX) - 256°/244° Cam lift (IN/EX) - 10.5mm/9.2mm Valve diameter (IN/EX) - 34.5mm/29.5mm Throttle body diameter - 65mm Injector size - 340cc Notes - VVTI These are all uk power ratings
Do we know what vacuum we should be getting at idle? I'm reading 25 In/hg at idle at full operating temperature, and maybe 23 at cold idle (startup) (uncertain/foggy memory). Gen1 3S-GE (Unless i bought a pre-swapped car and am still unaware, but i doubt it haha.)
