    Hi all.
in my members ride thread celica steve asked for where i mount my babyseats from in the celica in order to not have the straps reaching to the back of the boot.
here is a couple of shots from directly behind the rear seats under the carpet.
this mounting point is located where the metal hooks on our back seat slot into and give you your full boot space back as well as your parcel shelf not falling out constantly from the tightened straps.

Here is the location for you

Where the bolt fit into it is a bit of a squeeze but also more permanent spot

small incision in the carpet for quick access

hope this helps future members and no excuses now for the cars being to small and needing to upgrade because the straps take up the boot space lol
will get pics later of the seat installed

Thats ok man.glad it could help.
i am pretty sure its what it would be used for as it is a pretty solid part and can't think of any other reason why they would have a random threaded part there.
i find it a lot better there for the boot space

sorry for the late pics Steve this was the 1st time in a long time i have had the seat in my car.
also when i have the seat in my car i place the seat belt through the front of the chair where you would normally place it for the seat when in the infant position mainly because the seat belt pulls the front of the chair down and the straps at the back of the chair also pull it down anyways here are the pics

All good man. Forgot to add also if you have the seat bottom at the setting for infant with the angle theres a bit more head room and the baby leans back a bit inline with the chair.
so basically if you set the seat up in an infant position but have it forwards facing the chair shouldnt move at all and should fit really tightly into the car.
