How difficult is an alternator to do on the 3SGTE? I have a sinking feeling mine has finally failed. As i walked out the other day and it was dead. I jumped it then drove it around for about a half hour or more to charge the battery back up. When I pulled in my drive way and went to back into the car port she stalled and died. So I then let her sit on the trickle charger all night. Came out the next morning fired her up went back inside while she warmed up and she died again. Thus my reasoning behind my needing a new alternator.

take off the bottom bolt first on the alternator so you can loosen the belt, then when the belt is off, you can go ahead and take off the top bolt too.

Ok i wasnt sure at first glance because everything is packed in there on that side. Its going to be a tight fit to get in. Good thing i have skinny arms, lol!

i'm not sure what you have on that side for an alltrac but i just unbolted/took off everything there which was cruise control (3 bolts to the frame) and the coolant bottle just pops out.

    It's easy, don't worry.
