So i replaced the stock airbox with a cone filter, and it seems to pull a tad harder after TVIS hits. Also it sounds awesome once it hits tvis haha, goes from like a kind of high pitched to a low pitched/deep sound, ill get some pics soon
How much do you "sit" in traffic? My concern is heat soak since you live in cali. If you do ALOT - grab a heat shield for the filter. -K
i'm trying to look for a decent air filter heat shield or may be i could fabricate one. right now i just need more room in the engine bay so the battery is going to be relocated. more space for an air hose thats going to route cold air to the air filter.

You would be better off fabing a Box instead of the half metal heat shield once the battery is relocated to wherever your putting it to...IMO home depot sales plexi glass that would be a good alternative!
