well, i bought it all on ebay and now my horn no longer works. anyone know how to fix this problem??? if you are wondering why i got it its because of the high car theft in my area. i dont want my baby stolen
ended up spending about and hour or two messing with electricals trying to figure it out. horn works now and i am sooooooooooo relieved. especially during the rainy season right now.
umm, it was actually just bad connection. haha it was easy! took me a long time just to figure that out. before i was cutting and connecting wires like crazy!(bad mistake), but in the end it turned out nice and tidy. because of the bad connection going from wire to wire, i connected some of the ones that looked similar that i already laying around. then i constantly tested it to see if there was power going through. i did this by touching the red wire that connects to the horn to a ground and a "BEEP" went off. man o man was that a lot of testing. i must have annoyed the crap out of my neighbors hehe
the quick release hub is an NRG replica from what i see. looks great and at a cheaper price. the adapter hub is huge though. once the steering wheel is in its a lot closer than the stock. im gonna have a fab a shorter hub if i want it smaller. time to learn how to weld ohnoes
Re: aftermarket steerring wheel and quick release hmm...i dont know. mine was like $30 and it came with the adapter hub. i was really wanting a momo one too, but then the name jacks the price up a bit much too...
dude do you have a link to the seller? or the name of the company that makes this replica? it looks super kick ass!!
