Hey guys, I have an aftermarket steering wheel I want to install on my 86 Celica. I have the nrg short hub. How do I get around this clock spring and still make my horn work? Thanks guys Sent from my SGH-T769 using Tapatalk 2
I never found an adapter or a way that would make the horn work on my Celica, one reason it's no longer a street car. Maybe Mafix can help you on this one, I'm pretty sure he has an after market wheel and should be required to have a working horn on his street legal 165. racerb
So the electric connector 3 wire for the cruise control and horn. Started by destroying that lol sense it was in the way. Sent from my SGH-T769 using Tapatalk 2
I ripped all the plastic away till it was flush with the clock spring. Cut the two electrical pins off for the cruise control leaving only the horn one. Bent it over, when the hub for my after market steering wheel is on. The pin rubs on the metal ring on the back of the hub making a connection. Sent from my SGH-T769 using Tapatalk 2
