wtf? i would assume this is FIPG? or is an epoxy?

its not the fipg, as that is a different part number all together, that is my problem all the manuals refer to this stuff but no on e knows what it is, if it is simply a good sealant or adhesive or some form of loctite who knows

if it goes above a gasket i would at my best say to use FIPG.

it seals into the head(its for my spark plug tubes), the book says when your pressing in new tubes to use that sealant.

you think an epoxy rather than a loctite?

loctite is meant for things like bolts and such.

loctite has a sleve retaining compound that works whith pressed in items.
(loctite is a brand they have hundreds of different applications)

ok guys here it is strait from loctites mouth

Alex, Threebond 1324 is equivalent to our Threadlocker/Sealant 271. 271 is
sold through industrial distributors like Grainger Industrial and R.S.
Huges Company as well as AAM suppliers like Advanced Auto and AutoZone.
271 is a pretty common threadlocker used to permanently lock threads and
    it's also an excellent sealant.

    Regards,

    Mike Smigel

wuhu so now if you have a book or something your working on that says use three bond 1324 adhesive its LOCTITE 271!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
