    Hi team,
My left fan is not coming on when the AC is turned on (also not coming on when I disconnect the single wire fan switch).
I checked the fan itself and it works... I'm wondering if it's a relay or possibly related to my auto AC still needing "the fix".
    Any ideas??)

It seems to be working better...I think it was a combination of a bad connection on the fan switch wire (the single wire on the thermostat housing), and a sketchy relay.
Also I haven't don't the heater-fix re-solder yet. Maybe this weekend if it's not too hot to work on the Celi in SoCal.
If anyone has the pin out details for the '86-'87 Auto Climate Control available, it will be appreciated.

    Thanx, Vic

    86-87 Heater Fix

    FIXED!!
Thanx for all your concerns...I finally went ahead and tore open the controller, and re-soldered the sketchy connections that I could see had tiny hairline fissures.
Now all the great features of the auto climate control function and the fans work properly. Engine running just below half on the gauge ,...

Great good work, we never got those acc units in the Celica, how much is it that differs from normal ac units? I'm guessing it uses a diffrent heater housing?

    Auto AC vs Manual

From what I understand they are considerably different due to all the servos, etc that operate flaps and by-passes. Even the early ones (like mine) have different auto controls from the face-lift cars and are not interchangeable.
If you've got manual working sliders and switches feel blessed...
I'm just happy to finally have warm or cold air when I need it!

Now I'm getting that pesky, "main fan comes on when I turn in the key"
I think it may be a relay issue
